What We Value Shapes How We Live
At Glory House, our values as Jesus followers guide our worship, relationships, and service to glorify God. Our six commitments—Worship, Excellence, Advancement, Love, Truth, and Honor (W.E.A.L.T.H.)—shape our journey together, grounded in God's Word and community, not as standards for belonging.
WORSHIP

We Live for the Glory of God
Worship is more than music or what happens during a Sunday Gathering. We believe our whole lives can become an offering to God—how we work, serve, love, give, lead, and respond to Him. We gather to worship Him together, and we leave determined to live for His glory everywhere we go.
John 4:23–24 | Romans 12:1–2 | 1 Corinthians 10:31
EXCELLENCE

We Give God Our Best
For us, excellence is not perfection—it is faithful stewardship. Because God has entrusted us with gifts, opportunities, people, and responsibilities, we seek to serve Him with preparation, integrity, diligence, and care. Whether something happens on a platform or behind the scenes, we believe it is worthy of our best when it is done for His glory.
Colossians 3:23–24 | Psalm 8:1 | 1 Peter 4:10
ADVANCEMENT

We Carry the Good News Forward
We believe the good news of Jesus is meant to be shared. We want people to know Christ, believers to become mature disciples, families to become stronger, and communities to experience the transforming love and power of God. We therefore use what God has placed in our hands to make disciples, serve others, and participate in what He is doing in the world.

LOVE

We Love God by Loving People
Jesus placed love at the center of life with God: love God wholeheartedly and love your neighbor as yourself. At Glory House, we want that love to be visible in how we welcome people, build relationships, forgive, serve, encourage, correct, and care for one another. We believe genuine spiritual maturity should make us more loving, not less.
Matthew 22:37–40 | John 13:34–35 | 1 John 4:7–12
TRUTH

We Are Formed by the Word of God
We believe Scripture is God's Word and our trustworthy authority for faith and life. Rather than shaping the Bible around our preferences, we allow God's Word to challenge, correct, encourage, and transform us. We are committed to teaching the whole counsel of Scripture so that people can know what they believe, understand why they believe it, and learn to live it faithfully.
John 17:17 | 2 Timothy 3:16–17 | Acts 20:27
HONOR

We Treat People as Valuable to God
Honor begins with recognizing who God is and seeing people as He sees them. We honor God above all, respect those entrusted with responsibility, value one another as people made in God's image, and seek to treat every person with dignity. Honor does not require pretending that everything is right; it means that even when we disagree, correct, or confront, we do so with truth, humility, and love.
